
Mr. Bhav Patel is a multi-award winning Consultant Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) Surgeon and Educator with an impressive educational background and extensive clinical experience. He graduated from Imperial College with an MBBS (Hons), earning distinction in Medical Sciences, along with a first-class honours degree in Healthcare Management from Imperial College Business School. He obtained Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons within a year of graduating, making him one of the youngest surgeons in the country.

Mr Patel’s training and experience are rooted in the North Thames region of London, where he completed both basic and higher surgical ENT training. He was selected as the highest-ranking first-time applicant nationally into the ENT training programme. His clinical expertise was honed at several prestigious centres, including:
To supplement his UK training, Mr Patel also undertook observational and hands-on visits to multiple international centres of excellence in Austria, Denmark, France, Italy, India and Nepal.

Throughout his career, Mr Patel has received numerous awards and recognitions. He was awarded the Royal Society of Medicine Gold Medal for the highest national performance in the FRCS (ORL-HNS) examination. His accolades include over 20 career prizes from organisations including the Royal College of Surgeons, ENT UK, Royal Society of Medicine, British Society of Otology, Thomas Wickham-Jones Foundation, Worshipful Company of the Needlemakers, and the Royal National ENT Hospital.
In 2024, he received the LNWH Surgery Award for Outstanding Surgical Care, recognising his commitment to exceptional surgical outcomes and patient wellbeing. He has also received a scholarship from the National Institute of Clinical Excellence and has been recognised with the IWGC Excellence Award for three consecutive years for delivering consistently outstanding patient care.

Mr Patel’s NHS practice is based at Northwick Park, Central Middlesex, and Hillingdon Hospitals. is amongst the UK’s leading ear surgeons by volume, and also provides comprehensive paediatric and general ENT services. He established West London’s newest auditory implant service, offering a range of bone conduction hearing implants.
His practice is distinguished by the combination of endoscopic ear surgery and awake ear surgery, allowing patients access to some of the most minimally invasive treatment options available

In addition to his clinical practice, Mr Patel is deeply committed to medical education. He holds a Master’s degree with Distinction in Surgical Education from Imperial College and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). In recognition of his contribution to undergraduate teaching, he was awarded Imperial College School of Medicine’s Excellence in Tutoring Award.
As an Educational Supervisor at Northwick Park Hospital, an Undergraduate Clinical Tutor at Imperial College Medical School, and Specialty Lead at Brunel Medical School, he mentors and educates future medical professionals. He also runs two educational YouTube channels — ENT Flashcards and London ENT Surgery — which support the learning of ENT trainees and medical students internationally.
Mr. Patel’s innovative work has been featured in various news and media outlets. Most notably, his unique minimally invasive approach to stapes surgery was highlighted by BBC News. Additional coverage has showcased his introduction of bone conduction hearing devices to his region along with his pioneering work on robotic microscope technology.

Mr. Patel is a former trustee of Ear Aid Nepal, a charity run entirely by volunteers. The organisation has established and operates one of Nepal’s leading ear hospitals, providing high quality, affordable care, delivered by local surgeons to under-served communities. Mr Patel visited the Ear Centre in 2022 and continues to support the charity through his practice.
